An-Najah National University (ANNU) plays an active role in extending education beyond its enrolled students by providing lifelong learning opportunities for the wider community. Through a wide range of executive education programmes and vocational training initiatives, the University ensures that individuals—including professionals, youth, women, and underserved groups—can access short courses and practical training designed to improve employability, entrepreneurship, and social empowerment. These programmes are not part of degree curricula such as MBA, but are specialized, flexible, and community-oriented, directly contributing to Quality Education.

Executive Education and Continuing Education Programs

Through the An-Najah Training Academy, and Training Center , the University offers an extensive set of short-term courses, workshops, and seminars designed to address modern and emerging needs of the community. These programs are tailored to provide practical and advanced skills without requiring full-time academic enrollment.

• Languages & Intercultural Communication: Japanese Language for Beginners, Korean Culture Day, English improvement workshops.

• Business & Digital Transformation: Digital Marketing Strategies, Advertising Manager Course, Social Media & E-Marketing, Content & AI Creative Journey.

• Healthcare & Professional Development: Comprehensive Orthodontics Course, Research & Scientific Writing, Educational Qualification Course for teachers.

Vocational Training (TVET)

Through the An-Najah Center for Training and Rehabilitation and the Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology, ANNU delivers comprehensive vocational training programs designed in close partnership with industry stakeholders. These training courses equip individuals with hands-on, employment-oriented skills that align with local and regional labor market demands.

Examples include:

• Engineering & Technical Fields: Refrigeration, Electrical Installation and Maintenance, IT & Network Support, Smart Systems, and Air Conditioning.

• Automotive & Transportation: Vehicle Inspector Training Programs in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport and the Palestinian Police.

• Industrial & Craft Skills: Sewing & Textile Technology, organized with the Nablus Chamber of Commerce to empower women and youth.

• Digital & Cybersecurity Training: Free cybersecurity programs launched by An-Najah Innovation Park targeting youth and women for future-ready employment.

Specialized Training in Health and Emergency Response

In addition to executive and vocational programs, ANNU contributes to public safety and health capacity through the An-Najah Center for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Advanced Life Support Training. The center delivers certified training in advanced CPR and resuscitation techniques for:

• Medical and nursing students,

• Midwifery students,

• Healthcare professionals, and

• Local community members working in health-related fields.

This center represents ANNU’s commitment to expanding life-saving knowledge and critical emergency skills within the community.
