Financial Support

An-Najah National University operates in Palestine, a developing country that the World Bank classifies as a lower-middle-income economy. Most of our students therefore come from a lower-middle-income country, and many of them are from poor families affected by occupation, economic crisis, unemployment and displacement. To make sure that poverty never prevents a capable student from earning a degree, the University runs institutional schemes that offer free or reduced-cost education and direct financial support. These schemes cover poor students from Palestine and from other low- and lower-middle-income countries.

These schemes include full and partial need-based scholarships and grants, scholarships funded by donors, exemptions from registration fees and discounts on tuition instalments, interest-free student loans repayable after graduation, flexible tuition instalment plans, paid on-campus student employment, and a dedicated grants fund for students with disabilities. Eligibility is based on verified financial need, and support is renewed each semester so that students can continue and complete their studies. Through these programs, An-Najah affirms its commitment to equal access to higher education for all students, whatever their financial situation or country of origin.<meta charset="utf-8"/>
