Admission Targets Policy for Low-Income Students
Policy Statement
An-Najah National University is committed to advancing social justice and educational equity by increasing access to higher education for students from the lowest 20% of household income. Through specific admission targets, outreach initiatives, and financial support, the University will ensure that economically disadvantaged students have equitable opportunities to pursue higher education.
Scope
This policy applies to all applicants seeking admission to the university from households within the lowest 20% of income, according to the national definition, across all governorates of Palestine. The policy ensures fair and equal admission opportunities for eligible students based on the criteria set by the university, without any discrimination based on gender, race, or religion. It covers all academic programs offered by the university, including intermediate diploma, bachelor’s, and graduate studies, in proportion to the target enrollment set by the university for each program.
