“This is an amazing theatre, equipped with the latest and updated systems we have anywhere in the region. We are amazed by the skills of the local technicians”. These were the words used by Mr. Poll, from Le Company in Paris, to describe his feelings at the end of five working days at the recently opened theatre that was funded by Prince Turki Bin Abdul Aziz.
The project was funded by the French Consulate General in Jerusalem and will enable the university to show documentaries and films using the Digital Dolby System in the new theatre that was granted by his highness Prince Turki Bin Abdul Aziz.
The university administration greatly appreciated the French support of the university. Further cooperative projects were discussed.
Mr. Ayman Al-Nimer, Director of An-Najah University Radio Station mentioned that they are working on initiating more projects in order to invigorate the cultural atmosphere in the city. The projects aim to show more international films and movies with the goal of having better interactions with and a greater understanding of other nations throughout the world.
