Superlink Company, specializing in telecommunications, organized a ceremony to honor students in the Economics Department, and the Business Administration and Economic Faculty who achieved high marks in their studies. This function was attended by students and staff from the Economics Department, as well as many other interested persons.
Prof Mahir Al-Natsheh, Vice President for Academic Affairs, thanked Superlink for their show of support for the university students, as well as their continual role in fostering community service. The relationship between Superlink and the university is an excellent example of useful cooperation between the university and companies and associations in the local community. It is very important to develop such relationships to increase the amount of applied training that the students can receive in private industries.
Prof.Natsheh also referred to the initiative of Jawwal, which offered three scholarships for students to continue their master degree studies, as well as financial support which enabled the university to obtain computer hardware and much needed books. He hopes that the fine examples of Superlink and Jawwal will be followed by other companies in the community.
At the end of the ceremony, the representatives of Superlink and Jawwal gave plaques to the dean of the Economics and Business Administration Faculty, the directors of its Departments, and awarded the students who achieved a First financial gifts and letters of appreciation.
