The University hosted Mr. Karam Farraj, the Palestinian Consul in Sweden and Mr. Hani Faidi, Head of one of the Palestinian Forums in Sweden. Mr. Farraj highlighted the current issues facing Palestinians in Sweden, including immigration, residency and citizenship. He also spoke about the achievements made in terms of political, cultural and economical cooperation between Sweden and Palestine. In addition to the training course offered to the Palestinians in the fields of security and human rights. He also spoke about the campaign of boycotting Israeli products in Sweden.
Mr. Faidi highlighted the obstacles facing the diplomatic mission in Sweden. Although it deserves to be highlighted that there are 23 Palestinian forums and associations functioning in Sweden was and it still is one of the supporters of the legitimate right of the Palestinian people in establishing their state.
