Islamic Bank for Development Awards An-Najah for its Scientific Researches

The Islamic Bank for Development awarded An-Najah the prize of Science and Technology in order to encourage the unique scientific researches in the Arab and Islamic academic institutions. Hundreds universities were competing in order to win the prize.
The scientific centers of An-Najah and the deanship of the scientific research have done a detailed study of its researches and researchers in order to get in the competition for the prize.
The Islamic Bank for Development formed an international committee of specialists to review the scientific researches of the applied universities for the prize. These universities belong to fifty two countries.
The international specialists committee expressed its admiration of the scientific efforts of An-Najah in the fields of science and technology, the sum of the prize is $100.000.
Prof. Rami Hamdallah, the university President said that An-Najah family is very pleased to win this prize that comes in such hard conditions to prove the important role of the scientific and technical efforts of this pioneer researchers in Palestine. He encouraged the university scientists and researchers to continue their scientific efforts toward more scientific achievements for the Palestinian community.
It deserves mention that An-Najah got Abdul Hamid Shuman Prize for the Arab Researchers several times over the past few years, the Hisham Hijawi Prize as well as Saint Andruz Prize and others.
The chairperson of the Board of Trustees, Mr.Salah Al-Masri and the members of the Board offered their congratulations to the staff members of the University for their Efforts.
