American-Middle East Education and Training Services (AMIDEAST) has announced that it will launch its International Training Program (ITP) at An-Najah. Demand for the program is anticipated to be high.

For students who continue to struggle against Israeli harassment and checkpoints when leaving and entering the city, the move by AMIDEAST is an important development. Previously the ITP could only be undertaken at the organization's Ramallah office. The road to Ramallah is often impassable due to Israeli army roadblocks.

The ITP provides an accurate, inexpensive tool to assess an individual's level of English and to predict their TOEFL performance, benefiting both students and university staff.
