A delegation from the college of architecture at the University of Paris BleVille visited An-Najah National University and met the Dean of the Engineering Faculty and other teaching staff in order to discuss the possibilities of better cooperation in both education and research between the two institutions.

A series of lectures was held at the Faculty of Engineering on renovation in old Arabic cities, cultural heritage and renovation projects in Bethlehem, and on systems for renovating traditional Palestinian houses.

Dr.Iman Al-Amad, the Head of the Architecture Department, emphasized the importance of the cooperation between the departments of Architecture in Nablus and Paris, which was initiated in the 1990s. She spoke highly of the richness of the lectures given by the visiting French professors, which reflect the strong international interest in Palestinian heritage and architecture.
