The university’s Geography Department worked with the Geography Department at Jordan University to arrange a scientific trip to Jordan between June 11 and 13 2006. Twenty students and faculty members took part in the trip, which included visits to the Industrial Zone of Sahab, Jarash, Ajlon Wadi Araba, desert, oases, phosphate mines and the Dead Sea.
The trip was supervised by the Geography Department Head Dr. Ahmad Ghdayeh and the Dean of Scientific Research, Dr. sMuhammad Abu Safat.
