Exhibition on the Architecture of Jafar Tukan

Mr. Regis Koetschet, the French General Consul in Jerusalem opened the exhibition of Jafar Tukan, a Palestinian architect, which was organized by the French Cultural Center.
The exhibition included many posters of the buildings which were designed by Mr.Tukan in different sites of the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf region. Furthermore, the exhibition displayed some designs of his work in the old city of Nablus, where he was responsible for renovating old sites of the old city of Nablus, as well as his work in designing the SOS in Aqaba/Jordan, for which he obtained the Agha Khan Prize in 2001.
Mr.Tukan expressed his gratitude to An-Najah National University for organizing the exhibition at the new campus, encouraging the students of the Fine Arts Faculty to organize exhibitions of their works. He also conveyed his happiness for being in Nablus.
