President Prof. Rami Hamdallah received today the Director of British Council in the Palestinian Territories, Ms. Sandra Hamrouni.  The meeting was attended by University’s President Assistant for International Relations, and Yasmeen Shahrur, Acting Director of the University’s Public Relations Department, and Mr. Mohammad Kobari, Director of British Council office in Nablus

 President Prof. Hamdallah welcomed Ms. Hamrouni and briefed her on the various academic programs of the University as well as the various faculties and scientific centers.  He stressed the importance of continuing academic cooperation between the British Council and the University.  President Prof. Hamdallah also praised the role played by British Council in supporting higher education in Palestine. Ms. Hamrouni praised the role of the University in promoting higher education and the significant role of An-Najah National University in the advancement of the educational process in Palestine.  She expressed the interest of the British Council in developing and strengthening the existing relations of cooperation with various Palestinian universities, especially An-Najah.
