A delegation from the Music Faculty of Goteborg University, Sweden visited An-Najah National University and met Prof. Maher Natsheh, Vice President for Academic Affairs. Prof Natsheh explained the current situation at An-Najah, as well as current and future projects involving the university.
The delegation visited the Fine Arts Faculty at the new campus, including the new theater that can host one thousand people. The Swedish visitors are members of SIDA, Swedish International Development Agency, and cam to Nablus as part of efforts to develop cooperation between the fine art faculties at both universities.
An-Najah instructors offered presentations on music teaching at the faculty, They welcomed the idea of hosting Swedish music teachers at their faculty, which will enable them to get better exchange with the European musicians and instruments. A number of positive ideas were discussed for strengthening ties between the two universities.
