Ahdaf Suwaif, a British novelist of Egyptian descent, visited An-Najah National University to meet members of the staff as well as students. She gave a presentation on her last novel “The Map of Love” following by discussion. Her two novels are largely influenced by her Arabic heritage and culture. She is widely read in the UK, and her works have received critical acclaim. Suwaif visited the occupied Palestinian Territories three years ago, and is currently working on a new work of literature about Palestine.
