An-Najah Participates in the Executive Council of the Muslim World Universities Union in Tahran.
Prof.Maher Natsheh, Vice President for Academic Affairs, represented the university in the regular meeting of the Executive Council of the Muslim World’s Universities in Tahran, Iran on 9-11 October 2003.
Azad University in Tahran hosted the meeting in which different topics were discussed, including cooperation between universities in the Muslim world, the membership of new universities, and the administrative and financial report for the coming three years.
The executive council agreed to offer students attending universities in the Muslim world special IDs to give them access to available facilities at other universities in the Muslim world. These IDs would be recognized by all members of the union.
There are twelve members on the executive council, with an additional two hundred and eighty members in the general assembly. An-Najah National University was once again elected to be member of the executive council.
