President Rami Hamdallah delegated his Assistant for International Affairs, to represent him at both sessions: 2^nd Meeting of the Provisional Senate, and the Constitutive Session of the General Assembly of the Euro-Mediterranean University (EMUNI), that were held in Barcelona, Spain last week.

EMUNI was established in June 2008, where President Hamdallah has been nominated a member of the Board due to his high administrative and academic merits in the international arena, he has also been playing a major role in fostering contacts and enforcing intercultural dialogue between worldwide universities and An-Najah.

University President Assistant for Strategic and International Affairs, on behalf of Professor Hamdallah, who has a voting right, has voted in favour of the new President-Elect of EMUNI and the Management Board Members in addition to the voting on the Statute of EMUNI.

Concurrently, the 9^th Management International Conference has been held on this year's theme: International Dialogue and Management. Prof. Hamdallah was chosen as a keynote speaker to this conference, who has been represented by University President Assistant for Strategic and International Affairs who spoke about "The Role of Universities as a challenge and opportunity for intercultural dialogue in today's world."  It is worth mentioning that An-Najah represented by its President Hamdallah will Co-Chair the Management Board of EMUNI in 2009.
