Holding the 2nd Design Thinking Workshop
The Competency Development Unit at An-Najah in cooperation with Partners for Sustainable Development (PSD) held the 2nd Design Thinking Workshop at the Faculty of Science conference room in the New Campus.
The workshop was over three days and included 9 training hours.
The training aimed at encouraging students’ creative thinking skills and discovering their weakness and strength points to enhance their performance in interviews and addressing issues.
32 students from An-Najah participated in the workshop which mainly shed light on design thinking as a methodology used by designers to solve complex problems, and find desirable solutions for clients.
It is worth mentioning that a design mindset is not problem-focused; it is solution focused and action oriented towards creating a preferred future.
- The workshop was given by the German trainer Masha Wondler and was attended by Mr. Hasan Hammad from PSD and Ms Suheir Saleh, Coordinator of the Competency Development Unit at An-Najah.
