An-Najah Participates in the Palestinian Business Council Annual Forum in Dubai to Foster Academic–Business Collaboration
A delegation from An-Najah National University participated in the Annual Forum of the Palestinian Business Council in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, which brought together prominent economic figures, business leaders, and representatives of various institutions to discuss priorities for the upcoming period and ways to strengthen collaboration across different sectors.
The University’s delegation included Mr. Ahmad Al-Sarghali, Advisor to the President for Public Relations and Marketing Communications; Prof. Waleed Sweileh, Dean of Scientific Research and Director of the Global Academic Rankings Department; and Mr. Jalal Salman, Activities and Protocol Coordinator at the Public Relations Department.
During the event, the delegation conveyed the greetings of H.E. Prof. Rami Hamdallah, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of An-Najah National University and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of An-Najah National University Hospital, as well as the greetings of the University President, Prof. Abdel Naser Zaid, to Eng. Moatasim Al-Daour, the newly elected President of the Palestinian Business Council, and the members of the newly elected Board of Directors. The delegation wished them success in their new term and emphasized the Council’s important role in supporting the Palestinian business community and strengthening cooperation with academic institutions.
The University’s participation reflects its ongoing efforts to expand collaboration between academia and the business sector, strengthen its regional engagement, and align its academic programs and research with the evolving needs of the labor market.
The Council’s Board of Directors for the 2026–2028 term includes Eng. Moatasim Al-Daour as President; Fares Ghandour as Vice President for Strategic Relations; Osama Jaser as Secretary; Sameh Awad as Treasurer; Basim Abu Deqqa as Head of Business Development; Akram Awad as Head of Studies and Information; Dima Qumsieh as Head of Communications and Public Relations; Dima Al-Sharif as Head of Membership and Community Affairs; and Yara Al-Saleh as Head of Events and Programs.
