Shahd Kilani, top Tawjihi* student in humanities with an average of 99.4% chooses An-Najah National University‘s Law programme.


Kilani chose An-Najah for its good academic reputation as it offers academic programmes of high quality such as law.

When we interviewed her, she mentioned that a number of her relatives including her parents who studied at An-Najah commended the university and its academic status.

Shahd participated in several extracurricular activities which contributed in her excellence and encouraged her to enroll in the law programme.

She also said that she is taking the first step towards her dream from An-Najah, and it will grow and flourish from there.

*Tawjihi is the general secondary examination in Jordan, West Bank and Gaza and determines whether a student will be permitted to enroll in university. Foreign secondary education programmes such as IGCSEs, SATs, and International Baccalaureate require have Tawjihi-equivalency so that the student could later work in Jordan or Palestine or proceed to a higher education there.
