Community Outreach Services

The sustainability office at An-Najah National University (ANNU) actively manages diverse outreach projects in education, health, information services, and community engagement, reinforcing its commitment to social responsibility and sustainable development.
In education, ANNU provides free tutoring, mentorship, and workshops in entrepreneurship, and sustainability. The An-Najah Child Institute supports children with special needs. In health services, ANNU enhances community well-being through its hospital, offering free and low-cost medical care, and mobile clinics serving rural areas.
The Faculty of Medicine organizes free medical days, screenings, and awareness campaigns. The Poison Control and Drug Information Center (PCDI) provides free, expert guidance on poisoning, medication safety, and toxicology-related concerns for the public and health Institutes. ANNU’s media platforms also promote public health, covering topics like nutrition and smoking cessation. ANNU fosters community engagement through its public resources, which provide public access to the community, and its Legal Clinic and Community Service Center, which offer free legal and psychological counseling for the public. The Media Center trains aspiring journalists, equipping them with essential skills. Through volunteerism, the An-Najah Voluntary Work Club leads social and environmental initiatives, collaborating with NGOs. Also the University-led initiatives such as clean-up campaigns, tree planting, and environmental conservation efforts.

In technology and innovation, INNOPARK fosters entrepreneurship, digital literacy, and AI-driven education, supporting startups and industry collaboration for societal advancement.
