Free Drinking Water on Campus
An-Najah National University (ANNU) is dedicated to promoting the health, comfort, and well-being of its students, faculty, staff, and visitors by providing free and continuous access to clean drinking water across all campuses.
To achieve this, the University has installed 175 drinking water fountains and dispensers in key indoor and outdoor locations, including academic buildings, administrative offices, sports facilities, libraries, and public gathering areas. These units are strategically distributed to ensure that everyone on campus has easy access to fresh, safe, and chilled water throughout the day.
All drinking water systems are regularly maintained and tested by the University’s Water Research Unit (WRU) to ensure compliance with national water quality standards. This initiative not only supports the well-being of the university community but also encourages the reduction of single-use plastic bottles, reinforcing ANNU’s commitment to sustainability, public health, and environmental responsibility.
