Prof. Abdel Naser Zaid

Abdel Naser Zaid is a distinguished professor of Pharmaceutical chemistry and technology at An-Najah National University, Department of Pharmacy. He has taught and carried research in the field of pharmaceutical sciences since 2002. He was chair of the Department of Pharmacy from 2013 to 2020 where he was also the coordinator of the Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Professor Zaid has authored or co-authored more than 120 scientific peer-reviewed manuscripts in many disciplines of pharmaceutical sciences. He has served as a consultant for the pharmaceutical industry and government agencies and has served as an expert observer on the development of drug formulations, dissolution characteristics, modified release products, and bioavailability and bioequivalence studies. He received his undergraduate and graduate studies at Ferrara University – Italy. He conducted a Post-Doctoral fellowship in collaboration with King Pharmaceuticals, North Caroline, USA. He has many local and international scientific collaboration with local, regional and international research groups.
