Zajel Organizes an Exhibition on the Vietnamese Heritage and History
On Thursday, 26th November 2015the International Youth Exchange Programme (Zajel) at An-Najah organized an exhibition on the Vietnamese heritage and history.
The exhibition aimed at introducing Vietnam’s traditions, culture and history to an-Najah community and shed light on the agricultural and industrial life in Vietnam before and after the war. The exhibition also aimed at reinforcing cultural exchange between An-Najah students and other international nations.
130 pictures represented the different aspects of the Vietnamese rural and urban life, customs, traditions and heritage and illustrated the struggle of the Vietnamese people during the war.
One of the attending students, Mahmoud Mansour said: “It is amazing how pictures incarnate a whole nation of Asia. They express small details of everyday life in Vietnam”.
While Student Sahar Basim said that she learned a lot about Vietnam, a country she had never heard of before.
