Zajel Organizes a Workshop on Emotional Intelligence and Anger Management
On Sunday, March 22, 2015, the Youth Exchange Program at An-Najah National University held a training workshop on emotional intelligence and anger management introduced by the Public Relation’s volunteer psychologist Miss Alison Lesley.
Miss Lesley talked about improving the ability to control one's feelings in various circumstances through self-realization, independence, mental concentration and emotional understanding.
Miss Lesley also talked about behavioral therapy as part of depression and insomnia treatment. This type of therapy aims at changing negative auras surrounding patients into positive ones.
Types of anger and ways to control it were part of the workshop's discussion. Miss Lesley concentrated on the self-realization issue to control feelings by conversing with one's self away from others.
