The Fine Arts Faculty organized a workshop on the Arts and Islam where scholars and students discussed different aspects of Islam and its impact on the fine arts. This involved considering the Islamic impact on European culture in the fields of architecture, graphics, arabesque, mosaics and music of the Andalucian era.
