The University’s E-Learning Center held a training workshop this week entitled, “Educational Design.”

Dr. Saida Affouneh, Director of the E-Learning Center, and Dr. Alia Assali, Head of the Elementary Education Department, ran the workshop.

Sessions focused on a method of instructional design called the ADDIE model. ADDIE stands for “Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate” and the method serves as a tool in course design and project management. In addition to the ADDIE method, the workshop also covered electronic course design and course timelines.   

Academics from several University departments participated and they recommended that workshop organizers continue to offer such training opportunities.
