Workshop at the University about the Use of Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA)
10 January 2010
Held in the labs of the Computer Engineering Department, on Sunday, 10th of January 2010, was a workshop on the use of field-programmable gate arrays (FPGA) which are used in order to design controllers of electro-mechanic devices.
Dr. Luai Malhis, Head of the Computer Engineering Department and the coordinator of the course, said that this course continues for four days in which representatives of Palestinian universities as well as representatives of the departments of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University participate. He also added that this course discusses mainly the use of Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA).
Lecturers in this course included: Dr. John Debrecen and Dr. Joel Michael Vert who delivered their lectures to more than 24 participants in the different fields of electrical and computer engineering.
