Video Conference with Goldsmith College in UK.
An-Najah participated in a seminar by video-conference with Goldsmith College, London University. The seminar also involved the participation of several other Palestinian universities in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank and under the patronage of the British Council.
The seminar discussed the methods of teaching English Language for elementary levels and the ways and ideas that can be used to ease the educational process, especially for new teachers, for example using stories and other means. Mr Muhammad Kobari, the Head of the British Council in Nablus said that this kind of seminar will just be the beginning of a series of similar seminars in which more than eighty students from different Palestinian universities and colleges will take part along with the Goldsmith College.
Mrs Suheir Khouri, Head of the Information Centre for the British Council in Palestine, expressed her great appreciation for the cooperation between the Palestinian Universities and the Council and stressed on the importance of such activities for both English teachers and students.
