A delegation from the Palestinian call foundation, led by Mrs. Makbula Yasin, head of the foundation in Washington, and accompanied by Mr. Essam Salah, member of the board of trustees at the foundation, Mr. Fil Coffer, head of the Kids Online Foundation, and Mr. Gell Carter of The Other Side Institute met Dr. Suleiman Khalil, Coordinator of the Scientific Centers at the university, Dr. Maen Samara, Dean of Agriculture Faculty and Mr. Maen Shreim of the Agriculture Faculty.
The delegation toured the university and visited the dairy products factory where they discussed possible projects for marketing the factory products and developing the different experiences and qualifications available there. The delegation also visited the new campus of the university, the IT Training Centre, the medical labs and the different parts and departments of the university where they expressed their admiration for the high academic level the university has achieved. At the end of the study tour the delegation also visited Nablus Municipality, Al Ludd Society and Jameiet Asdika Al Mareed, the Patients' Friends Society in Tulkarem City.
A delegation from Arizona University also visited the university; including Mr. Robert Frits, head of the agricultural guide project for the international gathering of dry lands, and Dr. Akram Tamimi, Professor of the Environmental Sciences at Arizona University. Both met with Prof. Rami Hamdallah, The University President, Dr. Suleiman Khalil, Coordinator of the Scientific Centers at the university and Dr. Muhammad Al-Masri and Dr. Anan Jayousi, from the Water and Environmental Sciences Center, to discuss current and future mutual cooperation.
