Trainings in First Aid and Basics of Firefighting to Start Soon
The University's Public Safety Committee announced on January 2nd the start of two training courses on first aid and the basics of firefighting that will be held on the 2nd-6th and the 9th-13th of January respectively.

The first course will be run in coordination with Dr. Qasem Asmeh, based on the University's new campus, and the second will be coordinated with the Firefighting Department in Nablus.
More than 40 employees at various laboratories, workshops, and scientific centers will participate in the courses. Staff at the library, the Center for Urban and Regional Planning, the Media Center, and the Central Warehouse will also take part to the trainings.
The two areas addressed by the trainings are of substantial importance to the public, since their focus will be on issues related to public safety. Training employees on first aid and firefighting basic techniques will help them deal effectively with situations involving danger and risk.
The trainings will, as a result, significantly increase the participants' preparedness in facing such situations, since most of them work in areas that require caution and ability to deal with occasional hazards.
