The Chemical, Biological and Drug Analysis Center at the University conducted a practical training to owners and workers at olive presses on the subjects of acidity of olive oil. Mr. Muhammad Abdul-Qader, laboratory supervisor at An-Najah, gave a theoretic introduction on the kinds of olive oil and its acidity.  The training focused on standardization and finding of the acidity percentage in different types of olive oil.   This training course comes as part of the Center's policy to conduct training through transferring experience to public and private sectors.  It is worth noting that this project is funded by the Palestinian Union for Food Industries.
