The Media Center at An-Najah University successfully concluded the “Photography and Photo Editing” training course which was organized over two months at the Center and consisted of 45 training hours. The course was administered by Alaa Badarneh, Photographer and Journalist in the “European Press Photo Agency" EPA.

The training course consisted of several theoretical lectures and practical training at the Center’s training rooms. Students also received outdoor training whereby they visited various sites and learned how to take shots of different objects and scenes.

The training also targeted the students’ skills in various fields such as the different photography techniques, how to deal with light, photo editing…etc.

At the end of the course, Dr. Atef Salameh, Dean of the Faculty of Media, and Badarneh presented the certificates to the participants.

Dr. Salameh also presented Badarneh with the University’s Shield in appreciation of his efforts and cooperation throughout the period of the course.

Badarneh mentioned that the students have shown great skill in photography and most of them have shown signs of promising photographers.

Abla Rwais, Training Supervisor at the Media Center, said that the coming period will witness many workshops and lectures that will be dedicated to photography, in addition to many others in the field of journalism next year.
