The Volunteers in the International Volunteering Participate in Training University Students through Training Workshops
June 20th 2010, the volunteers participating in the international volunteering camp which is organized by the International Youth Exchange Program (Zajel) of the Public Relations department continue their work on training University students through a number of specially designed workshops and courses. International and local volunteers provide teaching and orientation to students by holding daily meetings in which they train them on a variety of topics.

Students are being trained on conversation in English, discourse skills, personality development, team work, leadership, time management, discussion and dialogue skills, and many others. Around 200 students from the different faculties at the University benefit from the lectures and training sessions that the Camp offers. Many students have stated that those workshops sharpen their skills and prepare them for their future career.
The workshops aim to reinforce cultural exchange between local and international students through close contact, cooperation, joint work and collaboration between them. Locals mentioned that holding such events helps in bridging the gap between Arab and foreign cultures. It also enables Palestinian students to come closer to other global cultures which enriches their knowledge and enhances their experience. Work on these workshops will continue for two weeks from the 14th to the 28th June 2010.
