September 18^th. An academic delegation that included Professor Saleh Abu Osba’, Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs at Philadelphia University in Jordan, a group of international volunteers and a delegation from Bethlehem University visited An-Najah. The guests were received by Prof. Maher Abu Eid, Vice President for Academic Affairs at AN-Najah, who welcomed the Professor and his delegation to the University and presented a full description of An-Najah, its academic programs as well as its role in serving the educational process in Palestine.

After the meeting, a tour was organized for the visiting delegation which included the Old Campus where Mr. Jalal Salman from the Public Relations Department at An-Najah, introduced the guests to the different facilities that the University has. A short documentary was presented to the delegation that familiarized them with the history of the University and the different aspects of development it witnessed.

The delegation also visited the New Campus where they were introduced to the different facilities there including the Prince Turki Bin Abdul Aziz Theater, the Faculty of Fine Arts, the University’s Library and the Faculty of Physical Education.

Additionally, the delegation visited the Old City in Nablus where they were introduced to the traditions of the locals and the different parts of the city including the Nabulsi soap factories and the old Turkish baths.

Nabeela Daqqaq, Head of the Social Sciences Department at Bethlehem University, praised the level of development that An-Najah has achieved and its hospitality.

At the end of the visit Mr. Salman presented the delegation with a souvenir in appreciation for their visit to the University.
