The University signs an agreement of cooperation with the University Fernando Pessoa (UFP) in Portugal
An-Najah National University signed an agreement of cooperation with the University Fernando Pessoa (UFP) in Portugal on 20 July 2007. Professor Rami Hamdalla and Professor Salvato Trigo, Rector of UFP, signed the co-operation agreement. An Najah will work with the new partner towards the following directions: the exchange of information and materials, the exchange of faculty and students between the two institutions, joint research projects, and other forms of co-operation and collaboration. University Fernando Pessoa (UFP) is a private institution created in 1992, as result of the merger of two innovative institutes of higher education in Portugal. The main purpose of this merger was to give birth to a university dedicated to the development of the “Knowledge Society” through new teaching strategies.
