July 26^th 2010. As part of the cooperation between the University and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) through which several projects have been conducted in Palestine which contributed to the development of the Palestinian society and the welfare of the people, a cooperation agreement has been signed between the University and the UNFPA.

The agreement was signed by the University President, Prof. Rami Hamdallah and Mrs. Barbara Petasa Georgi, the Representative of the UNFPA in Palestine. Prof. Hamdallah praised the unique relationship between the University and the UNFPA and the many projects that the two institutions have had over the past years.  

 He also hoped that such cooperation would continue in the future and that it would enable more projects to be implemented in Palestine which would help Palestinians achieve a better life. He also thanked Mrs. Georgi for the support that the UNFPA provides to the Palestinian people in the different fields of life.
