An-Najah National University signed a collaboration agreement with Örebro University in Sweden. The main points of this agreements include: exchanging teachers and students, as well as academic materials and information, holding joint international conferences, conducting joint research projects on various subjects, offering scholarships to An-Najah`s students who  study at this Swedish university. In Addition to the above-mentioned points, the agreement will allow more cooperation in the field of media and mass communication.

Last October, a delegation from the Department of Media and Communication at Örebro University organized a study visit to An-Najah National University. During this visit the delegation met many academics and the students of journalism at An-Najah National University. It is worth mentioning that this Department will represent Örebro University in this agreement.

As a first step to this joint cooperation, a video conference was held between An-Najah`s students and the students of Media and communication at Örebro University.

Dr. Nabil Alawi, the Director of the Public Relations Department, said that this agreement will enhance cooperation between An-Najah National University and Örebro University over issues of common interest, especially in the field of journalism. An-Najah always seeks to have more collaboration with European Universities; the thing that will be of great benefit for the university, he added.
