On February 23^rd 2010, Prof. Rami Hamdallah, received the Factions Coordination Committee in Nablus. Attended the meeting was Prof. Maher Abu Eid, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Shaker Bitar, Vice President for Administrative Affairs, as well as Dr. Mohamad Hanoon, Vice President for Community Affairs.

Prof. Hamdallah welcomed the members of the committee and thanked them for their visit. In turn, the guests congratulated the University for the rank it received by the webometrics which ranked it first in Palestine, tenth in the Arab world and number of 1616 internationally from among 18,000 universities in the world.
