The University Participates in the First Palestinian Educational Exhibition (Pedex 2005)
The University participated in the First Palestinian Educational Exhibition organized by the Eastern Mediterranean Educational Services in Ramallah at the Friends School. The exhibition targeted students looking for quality of education, with reasonable tuition fees and a friendly educational environment. The various highly respected institutions participated in an attempt to invest in education.
Prof. Naeim Abu Hummus, Minister of Higher Education, opened the exhibition. The Exhibition enabled students and their parents to get information, address any queries and communicate face-to-face with official representatives; who were on hand to assist and advise potential students as well as answering all the frequently asked questions. Students also had the opportunity to get information through exhibitors' printed promotions, including: pamphlets, brochures and catalogues.
The exhibition gathered more than twenty five universities, educational centers and ministries including: Ministry of Higher Education from Palestine, Ministry of Higher Education from Jordan, Ministry of Higher Education from Egypt, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Science from Ukraine. The educational centers from within Palestine that attended were: The British Council, The Goethe Institute and DAAD. The following Universities also were present: An-Najah National University, The Arab American University, Philadelphia University, Princess Sumaya University for Technology, Al-Zaytonah University, Amman Arab University for Higher studies, University of Petra, Al-Ahliyya Amman University, The German Jordanian University, The Modern Sciences and Arts University, 6th October University, Misr University for Science and Technology from Egypt, Carmel College of Excellence from London, TEI from Greece, Donetsk State medical University and Donetsk National University from Ukraine.
