Dr Sulaiman Khaleel, Coordinator of the Scientific Research Centres, represented the University President at the Euromed Universities Rector’s Conference, under the Patronage of the Finnish EU Presidency and with the support of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Department d`Educacio I Universitats and Secretaria d` Universitats I Recerca.
110 university presidents and representatives of international bodies from around the world gathered to discuss higher education and the draft of the constitution of the Euromed Permanent University Forum.
The meeting, at the University of Rovira, focused on empowering relationships and cooperation between the Euro Mediterranean universities. In addition, delegates heard about Erasmuss, a three-year project for the exchange of academics, researchers and students.
