The University Participates in Nablus Carnival "A Nation's March"

An Najah National University participated on Thursday 19th of November, 2009 in Nablus Carnival titled "A Nation's March" which was attended by Prime Minister Dr. Salam Fayyad. The event was organized in Nablus celebrating the 21st anniversary of the Palestinian declaration of independence and the fifth anniversary of the passing away of the former Palestinian President Yasser Arafat.
Among those who participated in the carnival was the University President Prof. Rami Hamdallah, Dr. Mohamad Hanoon, Vice President of Community Affairs, Dr. Hasan N'erat the Faculty of Fine Arts Dean, Mousa Abu Dayyeh Students Affairs Dean and Dr. Jamal Mhaisen Governor of Nablus, as well as other political and national figures.
An Najah National University as well as official and public institutions, security services and national powers participated in the celebration in which five paintings were made that depict the Palestinian people’s fight for survival and their aspirations for an independent national state.
An Najah National University, through the Faculty of Fine Arts, prepared a number of paintings that reflected the interest of the Palestinian people in education. Different activities were also introduced and the University’s choir group performed the Palestinian national anthem.
