Between the 6^th and 11^th of March 2010, An-Najah\'s band for folk arts of the Students Affairs Deanship at the University participated in the thirteenth students forum for Arab universities that was organized at the South Valley University in Egypt.

The band presented a number of shows that attracted the attention of the audience and the attendants. The shows included Palestinian folk songs, the folk dance (Dabkah) as well as the Tahona Operetta. The Operetta included art shows that depicted the Palestinians\' resistance against the occupation\'s attempt to marginalize its culture and history. They also depicted a number of issues related to the different situations in Palestine and the Arab world.

Dr. Mousa Abu Dayyeh, head of the University\'s delegation to the Forum, said that the University is concerned with participating in all Arab cultural forums that are held in the different Arab countries so as to reinforce contact and cooperation with them and support the Palestinian cause.
