The University Organizes a Training Workshop on the use of the Internet in Education
The Faculty of Educational Sciences at An-Najah National University hosted the first two sessions of a training workshop in the use of the internet in schools. This workshop comes within the framework of a project that is being conducted by the University, in collaboration with UNDP, the Italian Cooperation Office, and the Palestinian Ministry of Education. This project is aimed at supporting the education sector in Palestine.
Dr. Suheil Salha, the Project Coordinator for Incorporating Information Technology into Education, said that the workshop involves training the participating school teachers in how to use the internet as an educational tool.
It is worth mentioning that the university usually hosts such activities to express its openness to the education sector, and to compensate for the shortage resulting from the unavailability of internet access in schools.
