On May 5^th 2010, the International Youth Exchange Program (Zajel) of the Public Relations Department at An-Najah organized a study visit for a student delegation from Leiden University in the Netherlands. The visit aimed to reinforce cultural exchange between An-Najah students and their peers at other European universities.

A number of meetings and visits were organized for the delegation which consisted of nearly 15 students. The visits aimed to introduce the guests to An-Najah and familiarize them with the different parts of Nablus, particularly the Old City.

Mr. Ala Abu Dheer, Acting Director of the Public Relations Department at An-Najah, welcomed the students and presented a summary of the University, its faculties, the academic programs it provides as well as the various activities and events that the Zajel Program carries out to reinforce and maintain contact between Palestinian and international students around the world.

After that, a visit to the New Campus was organized where the delegation was introduced to its different facilities and faculties. The guests expressed their admiration of the level of development that the University has reached. The delegation also visited the Old City of Nablus, Balata Refugee Camp and the Samaritan Society where they were familiarized with the unique history, heritage and tradition of this sect.
