In cooperation with An-Najah Faculty of Fine Arts, the Public Relations Department, and the Palestinian House of Friendship, the embroidery and handicrafts exhibition by the artist Hiba Alfadawi was inaugurated on Monday, March 8^th 2010.

Ms. Alfadawi said that all the products presented in the exhibition were her own work which she uses to help reinforce the Palestinian woman\'s cultural and social role in society. She called upon the local and national institutions to support and encourage Palestinian women in this respect and help them learn and practice such work. Hamdallah \'Afaneh, Director of the Culture Administration in Nablus praised Alfadawi\'s work and called for more similar exhibitions to be held in schools so that young women could learn this art and promote their social and cultural position in their society.
