On April 11^th 2010, in cooperation with Injaz Palestine Institution, the University received Mr. Samir Halileh, the Executive Director of PADICO (Palestine Development and Investment Company) and organized a seminar titled "How to Be a Leader".

Mr. Munib Al-Masri, Chairman of the Board of Directors at PADICO, Mr. Bassam Al-Walwil, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Injaz, Dr. Saed Al-Koni, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, and a number of students and instructors attended the meeting.

The seminar aimed to familiarize the participants with the major leadership skills that positively affect the personality of the Palestinian youth and help them identify their future goals. It also sought to educate the audience about the role of PADICO in building the Palestinian economy.

Mr. Halileh explained the differences between learning and teaching. He said that learning is acquired and is affected by others such as parents or a leader, whereas teaching is a mutual process. The participants also discussed several topics such as how to deal with problems and challenges that the university student face, how to choose the suitable major, the problems that face graduates in their search for a job and the importance of determination as a key element to achieve success in life.
