The University Celebrates the Francophone Day
During a celebration organised by the French Department of the University on the Francophone Day, students performed different cultural and artistic activities. The cultural attaché of the General Consulate in Jerusalem attended the celebration, as well as the Director of the French Cultural Center and several instructors of the French Department.
Students acted their presentations on francophonic countries such as Lebanon, Morocco, Switzerland, Belgium and Canada, speaking about their population, culture, history and their geography. Songs were performed in addition to plays on the Palestinian’s daily sufferings at checkpoints and their right to education.
