The University Awards French Teachers and Several Employees from the French Consulate.
The university awarded a number of French Consulate employees in addition to the French teachers who taught during the last couple of years in the French Department of the university. An official delegation from the consulate joined Prof. Filon Defleure, Prof. Roland Crema, Mrs. Sylvie Lamy and the French teachers: Isabelle Audras, Veronique Bontemps and Hind Harfoosh in attending the ceremony.
Prof. Maher Natsheh, Vice President for Academic Affairs, thanked the consulate for their efforts in developing the French Department at the university and for providing the needed facilities, equipment and educational means. A presentation was then given on the curricula taught at the department and the exams and certificates offered by the French Cultural Center in Nablus.
Miss Isabelle Audras, teacher at the French Department, gave a speech on behalf of her colleagues and thanked everybody for being supportive; especially the students who had shown a lot of interest in learning French and the university administration for making it possible to teach French as planned in the curricula.
