On April 11^th 2010, the Quality Assurance Unit at the University organized a lecture about the desired educational outputs. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Allam Mousa, President Assistant for Planning, Development and Quality Assurance in which he discussed the issue of the desired educational process outputs and its relationship with education quality. He said that the aim of these outputs is to identify the objectives of the educational process and that it is necessary to achieve integration and coherence among these goals.

 

Dr. Mousa further emphasized that the global community is now aiming towards improving educational quality and to concentrate on learning more than teaching. The participants also discussed the importance of meeting the demands of the Palestinian market through designing courses in a way that enables the graduate to meet these demands. Therefore, the University is working on developing the outputs of the educational process according to the feedback it receives from the local market.

 

A number of models of some of the top international universities in the field of education process outputs were presented to the attendants for discussion.
