On February 28^th, the Office of Scholarships at the University held a meeting with Dr. Helga Baumgarten, Head of the DAAD IC East Jerusalem, to introduce the graduates and those who are interested in scholarship programs and cultural exchange available at the institution to the Master and PhD scholarships that DAAD offers.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Khalid Eleiwi, Office of Scholarships Coordinator at the University, welcomed Dr. Baumgarten and hoped that cooperation would continue between the University and the DAAD with respect to offering scholarships to university students who wish to pursue their higher studies.

During the meeting, Dr. Baumgarten explained the requirements for applying to one of the Master or PhD scholarships that the DAAD offers, how to select the best scholarship, how to get acceptance to study at the German universities or in Jordan, the necessary documents, as well as other related issues. She pointed out that it is possible for interested individuals to access the DAAD’s website in order to get more details regarding these scholarships.
